Do you consider yourself fortunate to have a local vet that specializes in parrots? I don't imagine that many veterinary schools teach that speciality. You'd think that students would want to visit your flock.
I have to travel an hour to get to an avian vet, and many people aren't that lucky. They're few and far between in most areas. Many vet schools don't teach the subject at all. When the one at Iowa State University had the course, the students came here every year to get hands-on teaching, and I have a practicing vet who comes monthly (or did until covid) to gain experience in a variety of conditions that she doesn't see in her clinic.

Do the parrots get nervous when a stranger comes to examine them with tools? It must be difficult if they act up and bite.

Today I feel a little bit strange. I've never been too much into the drug culture, I don't even drink, but I started to look into CDB Oil as a tool to handle Dorothy's pain. It's legal here and there are stores to sell weed products. Looking on the web I found a few locations. Not one of them had a phone number. I found that strange. One seems to be just across the road from one of the grocery stores I frequent. When I have finished my cup of Earl Grey Tea I'll venture out in search.

If you think about it, not having a phone number makes a lotta sense.

Follow directions closely with edibles

Be aware of side effects of CDB oil including diarrhea and fatigue. The THC potency can vary in these products, they are not all the same. So note and compare the percentage present on the labels.

If she is taking prescribed drugs, CBD can interfere with cytochromes P450 (CYPs), a group of enzymes that are important to drug metabolism. That means that it can decrease the effectiveness of the medication. There are also reports of liver toxicity. Best to consult her physician before taking these supplements just to be safe.

Yes and make sure you have confidence in your physician.

In my case, I have been prescribed medication for glaucoma and COPD, by the same health group. I have an app that confirms doctors in this organization share information.

When my vision got blurred, I checked the med cautions again and verified the results. Those with COPD should not be given what I was taking for glaucoma. One side effect was blurred vision with a number of others that I am experiencing!

From now on, I am getting a second (or third) opinion on any meds. I have not taken the glaucoma eye drops for a couple of days and my eye sight is improving while I wait for a response from my "doctors"!

Woman goes to the doctor for a checkup:
Dr: Ma'am, you're too heavy, you need to lose some weight.
Woman: I want a second opinion.
Dr: OK, you need a bath.

Good thing that you caught it.

A doctor should be asking for a list of all medication before they prescribe something additional. Computer programs that pharmacists and doctors use should highlight any potential interactions.
