95? Pffft, it's 112 in the shade here. Won't be DOWN to 95 till about 1 or 2 in the morning (if we are lucky).
I got two phases of experimental antiquish finish done on the backside of the baffle. If it comes out nice enough, it might become the front side I'm sweating bullets! Humidity is 60%, on its way to 80%. Weather is nicer in the Philippines, which is much closer to the equator.

We are not normally this hot so early. It has been holding at 116 for a while now, hoping the Monsoon kicks up this week as predicted. Monsoon usually drops the temp 10 or more degrees during the storms. Humidity will SUCK though.

Yeah I don't mind it so much when it's dry which happens more here than "damp". The coast humidity and lake effect used to be pretty nasty in Ojai, CA. When the humidity gets high here you use a knife and fork to "breath".
We're supposed to hit bottom at 10 PM at 68 F, coming with a slight penalty of 100% humidity. Then, even with the sun up in OZ, it still somehow manages to climb up.

Well I am grumpy now.. this band that I have been working with, we have not practiced in over 3 weeks.. with family things and injuries and crap like that.. so we get back together today and the older guitar player just wants to jam songs and not play them like there supposed to be. Maybe I am wrong.. with the things that are coming up, I just can't see wasting time on jamming on songs, plus some of the songs they are claiming that they are too hard.. (I think that it boils down to that they just want to play what they want and don't care about good songs, just easy songs to jam too, stretch them out) This is not a formula for good festival or bar band.. One big problem around here is it is getting harder to find people to play with! And also this guitar player says that he is going to move in the early fall to Nashville.. Oh he says "I'll come back at times and I can play with you all when I come back".. personally, I don't think that is cool.. I don't want to be a "jam" band either..
