Nice little doggie, our male Chihuahua howls sometimes, he only does it when our female stars yipping, it's hilarious and you can keep him going by howling back at him. My wife doesn't like it when I do it though, she thinks he's sad ot he's crying.
Same to you, buddy!(I have not run it through the Universal Translator, yet)

Howling is deep seated wolf instinct. An once saw an ambulance go by a dog park with the siren on. One dog started howling, the others joined in. They seemed to like singing.

As teens, my dearest friend and I sat on the kerb and barked at cars.
I’ve been known to bark at other dogs if they started it.
Dogs like to chase cars but they never seem to catch them. I doubt that they’d know what to do if they ever did.

Friend had a dog that, when you spoke to him, he did his best to talk back...same with singing to him.

Prolly going to watch some of the men's golf, hoping to see a bunch of millionaires brought to their knees and crying for their mothers by the course conditions.
Started off the weekend last night with a lasagna and pizza from my favourite takeout place. Get to eat leftovers today. Going for a long walk to the market for apples and a few other bits. Need to buy some more wood clamps and black spray paint for my Fender tweed amp cabinet folly. Ordered a mini router table this morning.
Reported Covid cases are going up. Kids took over the parks yesterday for BBQ parties, no distancing that I could see. The cops do nothing. There are hundreds of new local covid cases reported daily, the numbers are rising.

Opened my eyes today to see Odin seated so we're at eye level. He's just looking at me, directly at me, as if to say ... Get Up. Which is to me a great deal better and more fun than him barking to wake me.
Several hours later now, and having written of barking at cars myself, it's off to the growers' market and beyond. No promises I won't bark at someone, even telepathically

I must look rough when I wake up. My ipad doesn’t recognize my face and makes me log in manually.
First actual gig since March last night. Fish Fry Night at the American Legion in Ft. Pierce. A good time was had by all(apparently)or as we like to say, "fooled 'em again." Tonight begins the Stanley Cup Finals, so glued to the tube[OK flatscreen]for the evening. I'm sometimes drawn to older Westerns late at night. At the end of many, I reach the conclusion that they wrote it as they filmed it-the 'plot' twists make almost no sense.

Big news on my end that belongs firmly in off topic
There is a ring I had created for me for a specific purpose, and never took it off. That is until exactly when the CV doors slammed shut. A friend was to have taken it to Italy to be re-crafted in a new configuration. Since then it's been to Mount Shasta, and to Glastonbury Tor, and today made its way back to the Italian Alps.
Just completed the final deal minutes ago. And we are all very, very happy. The completed ring will look much like this, with aquamarine
