Do you own an iron skillet?
Welcome back Bassman Paul! It will get easier, I am sure. My dad had 2 bypass surgeries 10 years apart, the first of those when he was 45... I am trying to take care of myself because of the genetic disposition... But anyway, having witnessed such speedy recoveries I am sure you'll do well.

PS: If anyone has been wondering... I am a bit disappointed as they didn't do the iron infusion on me, they pushed it off 2 months until the next checkup. And the doc said we will talk dialysis options then.

That is great to read! I am very happy for you!
I'm getting out of the hospital in a few hours. After all of the horror stories of the aftermath of knee replacement surgery, I must say that I have had a relatively easy time of it. Great doctor, nice hospital, hard working staff, and my wife and daughter stayed in the room with me the whole time. I think someone upstairs was watching out for me.

By the powers vested in me by the Internet (and the fifty or so bucks a month I pay to access said Internet powers), I dub thee knight, under King Neptune the Wet.

Virtual sword is lowered onto the new knights shouder.

From this point forward, Mr. Spankdaplank shall be known as Sir DiscoSpank. All the Kings subjects shall bow to him, and perform a knee or back massage or other stuff he wants. Gad save the King!

Getting a hand massage from two lovely volunteers before discharge.
