Nope, California State Fair. A good friend of mine was out doing production with Cavalia (China tour) and takes care of their horses that live here in the states. I have ridden with some of the Cavalia acts that were spun off, all ofvthem very good riders. So, @agedhorse , are you here in Portland right now with Cavalia ? I'd love to take you out for coffee or a beer!
Yahoo! Can't take the diloted home with you, so better not jump too hard!I'm sitting here in my hospital bed, with my naked butt flapping in the breeze. Color me happy. Pain is very manageable with the help of Dilaudid and Oxycontin. They are on their way to my room to get me up for a stroll. I guess we will be stopping at the disco after all !
Thanks 99Z3 (I wrecked my 97' Z a little over a year ago) I actually figured it out myself, woo Hoo! Score one for this old fart. Are you the guy that bought 112 Hathors to use your Z for transport? I used to put my SM 12 and a Berg AE112 in mine.

I've often wondered, do any of you here play gigs with the young folk as well as with other old farts?
Would that be grounds for disqualification from the club? If so, how much younger do the young'ns need to be to invoke a violation? 20 years? 40?
Just curious.![]()

I think they will keep me until Wednesday. They want me to be able to walk and climb stairs before release. At least the chow is good here.Thats very good! You get outa the big house tomorrow?
At home care is a sore subject for me!! I got none, zip, nada!!. Surgery Wednesday. Kicked out on the following Monday and that was it!. I‘ve got a very good extended care plan but it was not used. I’m really, really grumpy cos of it. Dorothy and I felt completely abandoned!
So how am I progressing - tomorrow is five weeks after surgery.
On my first walk I went further than anyone else has ever done. The staff called me their “Poster Child.”
I’m off Morphine and can again taste my food. A couple of doses of extra strength Tylenol gets me through each day. Sneezes, especially the really big kind, are basic agony. Feels like my chest is going to explode! No signs of angina so that’s a relief. Wounds are healing nicely though we did have leakage which, we were told, is normal. Nobody bothered to tell us what we were supposed to do if it did happen! My ribs are complaining a little less each day so doing stuff is getting easier.
They sent me home with a sheaf of prescriptions one of which is for rat poison - Warfarin. I remember my Dad buying the stuff when I was a kid to fix an influx of mice, country living!! I have to have a blood test every Monday to check the level.
I see my cardiologist tomorrow and I’m hoping I’ll be able to drive again.
