I've got lots more like that! :D Some created on bass, others on guitar (mostly, the PRS Custom 24). IIRC, one of them is almost an hour long of stunning wonderful craziness.

Meh.

Damp cold is its own special kind of awful. For being wet in the cold, only wool will do. Odin got the best of three pair of my slippers. I don't actually own a pair of slippers that's not felt his keen attention. Perhaps a new pair of slippers for Odin to chew awaits under the Festivus Pole.

Born and raised in Miami. Got to Great Lakes Naval Training Center 12/1/1964-a little north of Chicago. I'd never seen snow(was shoveling it the next morning @ 0215)and didn't know it could get that cold(wind offa Lake Michigan). Large, economy size "NOPE!".

My wife looked like a kid in a candy shop the first time she saw snow coming down, the coldest it ever gets here is in the high 50's and there is virtually no precipitation year round. They think a little mist is a major rain storm:laugh:.

Guessing she never chipped a few millimeters of ice off a rental car's windscreen in rural Kansas. :woot:

Nope, she had no idea. When we first started talking I told her it was something like 20 degrees out (converted into Centigrade) and there was silence and then she said kind of horrified "Won't you freeze if you go outside?" I told her some wild tales for a while after that.
They have virtually no weather out here, it will be approximately the same temp at the same time of day here for weeks on end. I use an indoor outdoor thermometer for old time's sake. During the winter anything under 60 is "cold outside". There can be a little wind once in a while. They had "a" lightning bolt about 30-40 years ago once and it actually rained for three day in a row maybe 10 years ago, no gutters so it flooded I guess but that is freak weather here.

Let's see, hives or an igloo? Tough choice!

I can't wear anything wool. I get itchy and hives. If I was ever tortured all they would need to do was to put a wool sweater on me, I and I would divulge any and all secrets that I know.:woot:

Yesterday (Saturday) I was outside for several hours raking and blowing leaves. I had on shorts, a t-shirt, and a sweatshirt It was 42 degrees F outside. I was warm as toast. I saw neighbors on walks bundled up like they were trekking across the Antarctica. When it get's 80 degrees and humid here in Michigan, it sucks the life out of me and it takes extreme effort just to cut the grass without passing out.

I always said it would be a cold day in you know the metaphor before I agreed to come here, and mighty cold it was that day. Which leaves me perfectly happy in summer. But not as happy working a trade show in New Orleans in June. Sure the show is inside, but everyone's needed to get all the $tuff unloaded and inside. That kind of heat is wicked.

Boston 1978, living in Kenmore Square. I know my Datsun is on this street, I'm sure I parked it here.

Just a little snowstorm

Yep, 'tis only a fleshwound.

When the second one hit I got proactive and blew out of town off to northern VT for some skiing, although the storm mostly missed Stowe. I eventually came back for a while, but greener pastures beckoned shortly thereafter. We had a blast where I lived during the Big One though, my roomies were very, ahem, resourceful dudes. ;)

I’ll contribute. The kid looks like he’s ready for winter.
