Except when hunting season starts. Wild turkeys require real skill to hunt. At least the ones in the Ozarks. But, man, were they tasty!

Last time I went hunting I died from an accidental gunshot wound. Never really felt good about that, and never really decided if it was accidental. And not been hunting since.

Must have been hunting with Dick Cheney.
I wrote a song years ago called: "Richard Chaney, Sticky Dick". One of the lines sort of references that situation when it talks about Chaney's plan to do away with Bush so he can be the president:
..."It's so simple it can't fail, Just take him out to hunt Quail (Quayle?)"

That's just the door to the Devil's Porta Potty (a lesser known location compared to places like Devil's Postpile, Devil's Punchbowl, etc.).
I'm still waiting for one of these to show up on a wall, someday! The Chinese venerate the panda. Nothing wrong with participating in a cultural tradition.
0k, I come here to beg advice. I am a fery simple person about amplification, so...
First, the gear...

Next, the system. ..
One cable from the Rumble input jack to the mixer main out, plus inputs to the mixer from mic and instrument.
Now, the problem....
Havent used any of the gear in over a year. Started hooking up last night to test, and as soon as a cable went into the mixer out from the amp, I got major 60 cycle hum out of the amp with any volume above zero. No instrument or mic plugged in. There's no hum if I plug bass direct to amp.
So...dirt? Short? Other?
Btw...I swear this was NOT in response to the noble lady's image above.
