Too traumatic for him to come with for just two nights. I've a sitter, no problem. When I'm gone for a month or so when I return to complete what starts here, that's another story. I'm a wee bit worried there.

Yeah, me too, and that was more than enough.
Didn't even come close to finishing it-and that was with 4 people sharing it.
ADDENDUM: There's a "Giordano's"(Chicago restaurant)in Orlando near where my family used to live. They have other stuff that's really good so we figured we'd give it a try. Nope!

I tried Chicago pizza once. Eh, whatever. Cheese, sauce, and stuff on a piece of bread.
My perfect pizza is not too thick, more on the thin side, not paper thin, not too much of anything, has a chewy crust, not peta bread (that's ok for a snack).

I have "something Italian" on the stove now, ready in about a 1/2 hr. Sauce with sauteed onions and mushrooms, thyme, oregano, garlic. Angel hair pasta. I usually start from scratch but tonight Prego Original is the base. Pretty good, actually.
Our Kroger store has a really good sweet Italian sausage I use in lasagna and other stuff.

Cabrini-Green was half gentrified when I left Chicago in '04 (that's 2004 for you funny guys). I can't imagine that there's much if anything left of the original high rise tenements.
