Those triangular plain corn chips scraped in a little semi-hard butter tastes just like popcorn, minus the hard kernels that can break your teeth.

Good looks always gives you an advantage in life. I'm not sure why Canada Geese are protected by law. I see corn fields covered with them. Even in the city, there's more geese than rats and they aren't protected. If they were endangered, they don't seem to be now.

Ah well in the most clinical sense all lifeforms are copy machines. That's kind of an evil way to think about it, though. Not a line of inquiry I'd wish to see through to a clinical conclusion because IMO that leads to bad places.
So I grew up in Grand Rapids, MI, home of Founders Brewery and went to college in Kalamazoo, MI, home of Bell's Brewery (think Oberon and Two Hearted Ale).
I was in Cookeville, TN several years ago for a work project and having a burger and beer at Father Tom's Pub. It was when I saw a tap for Founders behind the bar that I realized Founders Beer is pretty popular across the country. I always considered it up to then to be just a local thing...

Movie mad scientists and Bond villains are (to me) two-dimensional representations of a sort of person who lacks empathy. Blade Runner and all. Strictly organic for me, thanks.
One from my working days in the '80s:
We had the corp office in St Louis and 10 regional offices in SW Bell's five state territory. Some users had multiple user IDs to help other regional offices with stuff like customer orders or inventory transactions. We had a user in San Antonio that had an ID for San Ant and Austin. We he got his Austin ID he drove to Austin to sign on to the computer when all he needed to do was sign in with the Austin ID. We called him "Rambin' Man" from then on. lol.
I bought 18 new Dell Latitude 3310 two-in-one touchscreen laptops early spring. Along with their WD19TB docks. Getting ready to set up three laptops I got a white BIOS pre boot screen saying, "power adapter is insufficient for laptop. Attach power supply." After trying six docks the last tech rep told me it was an error either in the laptop or dock. The dock was misreporting the amount of power the laptop was receiving. So, we went through the month long process of talking to some replacement return techs and managed to return the most of them. Without admitting mistake, Dell released the "new" Dell dock WD19TBS and I received one for testing. The S means that in the BIOS you can uncheck the setting that says, "stop boot process if low power is detected and ask for permission, or, ignore message and continue on."
Mind you they didn't solve the power supply error, they just provided a switch in the BIOS to ignore the message on boot up. Now the laptops boot but they have a large yellow exclamation point over the battery icon when hovered over says, "battery may take too long to charge. Try different power supply."We ordered 18 new adapters with the S icon and Dell has promised to eliminate the misreported power issue. After all, the laptops use 45 watt power supplies and the docks are 130 watts! Go figure!
Wanna hear the fun part? I was supposed to have the 18 laptops deployed by the end of June. The power supplies won't arrive to Dell until mid-July.
lol. Reminds me of the '81 Olds 98 we used to have. It had lots of trouble with the emissions stuff and the check engine light would come on continually. I was griping about it one day. My wife tore off a piece of matchbook and stuck it over the light. There. I fixed it. LOL.
Love that "back to the basics" approach!
Geez... reminds me of a relative when I was a kid. He would come to family gatherings with a movie camera and the six-bulber and stick it in people's faces. Then we would have to watch his silent home movies made with said camera and six-bulber. groan...
