Haha! I pity my poor parents with 7 kids all yelling at the table, they were like the odd couple, my father was very strict and proper with us and my mother was as easy going as could be.
I was going to say that if you drank enuff alcohol you wouldn't GAS, but then, you already would have.
I'd love one myself, but he has people to haul them and I don't.
It's been my experience that porters and stouts can have a similar effect as those prep kits mentioned just a bit ago....

Those were all the rage in my Worcester during the early 70's, I remember seeing a band outside in one of the parks with piles of them, blue sparkle too I believe.
I played a 1974 Kustom 250 with a 215 bottom (flat black tuck & roll) for many years. It was built like a German King Tiger tank and just like a Timex watch, it took a lickin’ and kept on ticken’.
Last year when my wife and I moved to our new place, I gave that rig to a good home for free. I couldn’t lift it anymore so there wasn’t any sense in moving it.
It wasn’t the best sounding amp ever, but it wasn’t bad. It was probably the only amp on the planet that could survive a direct hit by a nuclear weapon.
If it wasn't the first, it was damn close. Sunday evenings at Grandpa's house with Bonanza followed by Disney's Wide World of Color. I believe they were the first two...
I might like that bat-neck bass. I remember a mid '60s Tele bass I once borrowed from a music store that reminded me of just that.
SVT's are pretty sturdy too, one fell off the top of an 810 cab once and it hurt the sidewalk more than the amp.

Load it up with a couple of SRO 15"s and you have a challenge in front of you.
God, these were heavy.
I saw a band called The Jon Does in 1969 at a local high school and the bass player had a Fender V (only one I've ever seen outside of pictures) and the big Kustom head (200?) with the three 15" cab, I think that one was blue too. The guy was really good he did the quick Tim Bogert bass solo from 'Take me for a Little while' which impressed the hell out of me.
The Kasino has a coupla those square magnet monsters. If(big if)I was ever gonna use that thing again, I'd put a pair of lighter 15's in it...maybe. Or more likely, get a second R200c.

My first bass amp rig, after borrowing and/or scrounging things together for a couple of years, was a brand new Traynor YBA-3 and a pair of "home-built" (not by me) 1-15 TL style cabinets with SRO 15s in them that I got in 1974.
