Told this to my wife. She groaned, but said it's a definite step up from a Dad joke.BTW, I just sold my homing pigeon on ebay-for the 22nd time.
I gave in to the weekend sales force and ordered a credenza, aka TV stand. I initially decided to save some cost on delivery charges by picking it up at the warehouse. Then I found out that it weighs 120lbs. No thanks.
What I like about the cabinet is that it has tambour or roll top doors that slide open. Any TV boxes inside can he hidden from view when not in use. The doors are similar to the antique cabinet below. When they are open, they're out of the way which is a good feature.

Nice piece!
We needed a stand for the new TV the other year. Shopped around but didn't really like anything and too expensive. A lot of the stuff was "some assembly required" or variations on metal/glass. We had a 30 yr old dresser we had thought about giving away then my wife asked if that could be repurposed. Yes! And another chance to turn wood into sawdust and buy more tools. I repurposed the dresser to this:
entertainment center
Then we had all of the drawers laying around for a couple of years. Finally did this with the drawers.
chest
closet storage
It supposed to have richness and harmonics, a little grit.
Christmas tamales means the entire family is put to work in the kitchen.
My standard reply is, "then you can do it next time". Strangely, that doesn't seem to transpire. But then they know why I appear not to hear them later.I was always in charge of corn husks. Soaking, then stuffing and wrapping. My work was often criticized for being too generous. but I like bigger tamales.

Desert tamales are to die for!Is a Christmas tamale made with turkey and cornbread stuffing?
Never seen a chocolate one but they sound good.
So it stands out in the mix?
Risotto is a great deal of work, but I'll do it. This is where I go for proper risotto

I did get to drive it when I was about 12.
He blew the engine. I don't know what happened to the car. It took a nap, then got something to eat...?He blew the engine. I don't know what happened to the car.

So it compliments the mix. The high frequencies do help it to cut through as well.
As an example, listen to Beatles isolated bass tracks, they have some distortion that you don't hear when you listen to the song. But that tone combines with the song to make it better. Same can be heard on Jameson's isolated tracks. The roughness comes out in the dynamics of playing, weaving in and out of distortion.

I don't recall if SRV played that when I saw him in 1983 when he opened for The New Barbarians. Then in the future some blues/rock guy can do a cover. He also made good use of one of my favorite chords - dominant 7 #9
Got lots of use for our projects over the years.Good work. The Kreg pocket-hole system is handy.
I knew a woman who called them Maracas...(seriously)....I like bigger tamales.
