I have no Alexas or Echos or Roombas or even Siris (operable) in my home. But my win10 PC can update itself whenever it damn well pleases! I cannot refuse it or stop it; the only option this machine gives me is to select the hours when it might do this...
I reiterate, the robots are winning!! -Sheeesh, they won't even let you sign on to a whole lotta websites until you prove you're not imitating (and spying on?) them!

Bill still likes to tell other companies how to do business. Some non-microsoft updates are not in the computer’s update system. Company computers for instance, have upgrades pushed out onto your computer when they want them installed. They have their own update manager.

In my case with Apple equipment, I have autoupdate turned on. As an OS upgrade or app becomes available, they are installed automatically. Apps right away, OS upgrades are usually performed overnight, a notice is provided. You have the option of installing right away. Some require a reboot, others don’t. But they never do it while you are working.

I have about 10 wifi LED light bulbs and one socket control. I love them. Controled on my phone and iPad. Also does voice control thru my fire stick.

The luggage stands works a treat as a speaker stand, too. The mixer was my old Allen&Heath PA12 in a SKB pop-up mixer case. It was a great little mixer!

I was looking at LED lightbulbs for a regular socket the other day. They have computers in them. A bluetooth controller with the option of voice control turns them on and off as well as dims them. Some change their colour. ..... When not being used they can display the weather.

I once beat Ma Bell on a charge dispute. Took a friggin letter to my Congressman to do it, but by golly-damn I beat them!! -Will never happen on an online charge pre-deduction...
