Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

Here in Texas there are few things for which we remove our hats. I wear a hat/cap almost everywhere I go, but I was taught, that no hats were worn at the table, when in church, or when greeting someone. There are those, whom I see everyday, who would have been taken to task by my parents, grandparents, etc.
But as @GonePlaid said, most restaurants no longer provide hat racks, or hat check locations.
If a person sat at my mother's dinner table while wearing a hat something was going to be removed. The hat would be removed or the person wearing it would be removed from the table. My dad wore a hat most of the time but when he stepped inside the house the hat came off.

If you have any video of you practicing your parking lot technique, we'd love to see it!
...there is a reason I don't own any vehicles with sunroofs, I don't even want to be tempted. My performance in such a video would not be a demonstration of ingenuity and athleticism, in fact just the opposite. I suspect such an attempt by me would likely be described by observers as a bizarre cross between plain stupidity, awkwardness at heretofore unknown levels, and pity for the aged!

Do you have any other requests though? :)

Or it might look, as David Feherty once described Jim Furyk's golf swing, like an octopus falling out of a tree.

I hear you on that...you can't even use some of the parking spaces these days unless you want to crawl out of a sunroof, slide down a windshield onto a hood or trunk lid, and then jump to the ground from there.

When I was in the parking business, way back when, it was nice to see the acceptance of smaller vehicles. Re-stripping parking lots made more spaces to sell. Who cares if you can't fit into them. The lot owners don't care if you get door dings, inconvenience or damage. They do not accept any liability. They get to sell more spaces. The real scam was "compact only" spaces. Who regulates that? Now, we get narrow spaces reserved for for "Low Emission Vehicles" What a joke...;).

:help:

:laugh:. With me and my COPD, the faster the heart rate, the less likely I could play :help:! Imogen is my best friend...

Imogen's Antlers?

The stethoscope pocket may be deep enough for a headstock tuner. Pockets are dear. I'm old enough to wear hospital scrubs not to be presumed not to be a stage gimmick. Something pings about Wendy O. Williams and stethoscopes.

"Is that a Susquehanna hat? That’s the same kind of hat my husband was wearing when he was killed! He wouldn’t have lost his life if he had of been wearing a good hat when that safe fell off that 15 storey building – but no! He was wearing a hat like this one."
