There are a couple of airlines that actually permit two small pets in one carrier. I have 3 of these Sleepypod Air carriers ([Invalid or Expired Link Removed]). They're fantastic. They have a seatbelt restraint system built-in and a small portion of each end can fold up for tighter (cattle car, back of the bus) under-seat storage.

Nice carrier. Can you take them out once boarded? Any sedative required? I used to give my dog a pill since he had to travel in the belly.

At 6'-5" tall, any seat outside of first class and emergency exit look and feel like this picture to me. No wonder I dispise air travel almost as much as visits to the dentist.

I guess being on the elderly side is not a negative up here in Maine... at least as far as being a musician is concerned. Apparently there is a dearth of bass players hereabouts. I put an ad on cl and have been inundated with jam/audition invitations. Hard to choose but I don't have the time for all of them. Trying to decide between two completely different situations was making me a little crazy until my lovely (and brilliant) wife reminded me that I'm retired now and could probably juggle both! So it's my usual "classic rock" genre in one band and an old blues/Americana type thing in the other. Maybe I can find space for the new fretless in the blues band!...and they're all younger than me by at least 10 years. Hope they let me use a stool...

They have to remain in the carrier once through security, until through immigration and customs. I have a mild sedative for them. Tried it once, on the first day of our 5 day slow drive from Arizona to Chicago. The instructions said "1/4 to 1/2 pill, 90 minutes before stressful activity". I gave them each 1/2. Knocked my chihuahua on his butt for the entire day. Perfect! The other two were sedated, but came out of it sooner, so they'll get 3/4 to 1 each for the flight.

I'm an IT guy, so it makes me grumpy when someone at work tells me that a computer isn't working. lol. It makes me even grumpier if they tell me it's job security.

Brother! I spent about 32 yrs in IT. I've done pretty much every job there was to do. Most of it was coding with the last few years at times baby sitting the "kids" when they didn't play well together or didn't do their "homework". lol. Not missing that stuff!

I remember too well folks saying an app is not working right. Well, how about a little detail? I don't know it just did something wrong.
