Hello Dali

Just a thought for you all. The wife had some old jewelry she wasn't using. Some was broken. I know of a refining company that bought some of my dental crowns that was removed.

I sent it in, postage paid, and just was told a check is in the mail for $545.00. For stuff just sitting around. Now I'm looking for more. Easy company to work with. PM for the name is interested. Cash flow is always nice.

Edit: I didn't think it would be that much…

Always good to get a few swears going before I'm even dressed. Like today.

Last night just before bed a tool dropped down the bathroom sink drain. I tried fishing it out of the drain with some forceps, then with a grabber tool, but without any luck. I figured that I'd leave it till today. To make matters worse, on the way to putting the forceps away, I stubbed a toe. Doesn't seem to be broken but it's not happy.

I haven't had the energy to deal with the sink yet today. I've had other fires to put out. I'll probably have to disassemble the trap, maybe replace it.

No other like it. It's the work of an Italian jeweler up there in the foothills of the Italian Alps, north of Turin.

Gold is trading for $1783.27 USD an ounce.

A family member who was a dentist used to melt down gold from patients and make jewellery on the side. Seems that, at least back then, it was common in the business. Cremation and morticians are other sources of gold. I always found it kind of creepy.

I had some teeth pulled a few years ago my dental surgeon provided me with this companies prepaid envelope to send the crowns/dental work in. I was surprised then too!
The gold price on the day they received my package was about $3.00 per ounce higher at the time.

She won't miss the rest of her jewelry. Trust me on this...

It's A Trap!.jpg

Many years ago my wedding ring got so tight that I couldn't get it over my middle knuckle (proximal interphalangeal joint). It isn't safe to operate machinery with rings or a watch. Given the choice of loosing the finger, I had to cut the ring off. Now it sits in a drawer. I'm sure that there's a country song in that.
Ever see The Abyss?

Gonna put this here too, @Morrighan, context or no... :roflmao:

Too bad you couldn't find a place for this in your masterwork.
