Great show! I like that Steve started out with the ES-5. I'm not really a Ted Nugent fan, but something that both he and Steve have in common is the use of big hollow body guitars.
Did you notice the riff towards the end of "Clap" that Steve played that he uses during his solo in "Sound Chaser" (several albums later than this concert)?
What other band would start the show with a great R-n-R song (IMO), and then go into a solo acoustic guitar ragtime-ish piece?

I can watch Steve Howe for hours. He is so talented. And he was just a kid in 72.
For me, Steve Howe is far and away my favorite prog guitar player. He is the perfect combination of talent, hard work, and having an ear for what is best for a song. I am so glad that I was able to see him live.
Steve was not a kid in 1972 - I was a kid in 1972 and he's quite a few years older than me.

The 35th anniversary concert is really good, too. It was on the AXS channel the other year. It may come around again. We kept it on the DVR.

The grumposity is high. Uncertain if I know anyone In Real Life who listens to Yes.
