Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

Not really. I find it interesting and confusing, but since I only speak one language(OK, I can cuss in a coupla others), it's not part of my daily life. That is, until NHL season. They have Russians, Finns, Swedes, Czechs, Germans, and who knows what else. Kinda fun listening to the PBP guys mispronounce names.
The mispronunciations are hilarious, especially the Russian names. Those are easy, if you know the accent rule (second to last syllable).

Russian novels are a bit much for me, all what with keeping track of names.
That's tough. Names change based on your relationship with the other person. I had trouble the first time I saw the Russian version of War and Peace in the late '60s. The original Russian version was over 30 hours IIRC. The U.S. release was split into two parts, about 3.5 hours each. I saw Part 1 the day it hit the theaters. Part 2 came one month later. I really needed the very long intro (Part 1 retrospective) to Part 2 just to get the names straight again. The second time I saw the film in 1970 in Monterey where I was attending the Defense Language Institute, I went to the last night of Part 1 and the first night of Part 2. Much easier to keep things straight.

I ordered a book last night. Some are easier reads than others and this one makes you do math. Lots of math. Richard should have called it, All You Want To Know About The Fender Deluxe, But Were Afraid To Ask.

Not all books make the best seller list, but if you like amps, it’s a real page turner.

Guitar Amplifier Electronics: Fender Deluxe

Liked Samantha! Not so much for PJ.

C'mon now, go watch some of her other material on YouTube. She's worth it. Polly Jean plays guitar quite well too, not in the vid I posted.

Same with Samantha, she plays the hell out of her Tele. She plays this other dang gizmo called a cigar box with a slide, she kills it.

The cigar box geetar has 1/2 of a P bass pup.

I read on the laptop, so my first clue that I was asleep is when it thuds to the floor.

I gave myself a black eye a year ago when the ipad hit my face. Close call, could have taken an eye out. I rigged up a holder with a heavy duty cymbal boom stand. It worked well but was too bulky. A bed tray at Ikea looked ok but was flimsy.

I saw this one at an EQ3 store.
