Stop talking about me! I always wear a leather jacket and boots. No chaps unless it's cold. I ALWAYS wear a helment with a face shield. The jacket is vented and as long as I'm moving it's not too bad. Sitting in traffic ain't no fun though. I do what I can to avoid that. I will say my tolerance for heat/humidity has become less as I've gotten older. Then again a couple of days riding in the 90s to see something like this makes me forget all that.

No motorcycles for me is the conclusion I reach as a teen after two near-fatal bicycle accidents. One of them cost me a full week of life, of which I hold no memory. Still hold the scars. That's what scars are, that permanence is what makes them scars. I know, right?

What's with all the Thanos kind of stories, anyway? Doesn't anyone write a story where everything turns out right, and everyone is happy?

I have the Brooks Addiction shoes. I'm happy with them. I had to put Dr Shoals inserts in my house shoes and wore a strap for about a month.

I’ve been using nothing but Asics Gel-Kayano for years. I put on a lot of miles and the support holds up well.

After two very painful steroid shots that did nothing to help her plantar fasciitis pain, Mrs. Dog tried some OrthoHeel shoes on a friend's advice. They keep the pain away as long as she wears them. It comes back if she doesn't!

Agreed. I paid 1600 for my 2020 MIA Geddy and that is the best bang for the buck I can imagine. There ain't no way I am even entertaining buying a Custom Shop, Masterbuilt, or old ass bass guitar for upwards of 1500 dollars. A) I have an incredible bass already. B) There are way too many bass guitars out there that would perform just as well as some hyper expensive instrument.

$1500 is my absolute limit for a BG also. And most of the time I won't go over half that... I don't gig anymore, just noodle at home for pleasure. So finding an inexpensive bass that will give good tone at low volume is much easier than looking for a gig worthy axe, IMHO.

The foot doctor said it would hurt a lot, and might take 2 injections some weeks apart. He underestimated the pain and overestimated the effectiveness! He made my baby cry 3 time; once after each shot and again when it didn't work! We never saw him again, and don't intend to ever again.

Mrs. Dog and I now live by this. I learned back in the '80s when suddenly single and jogging with a friend. I kept getting a pain in one knee. The avid jogger friend said I needed some real good jogging shoes, so we went shopping. $50!!! For sneakers?!?! Well, I tried 'em and simply could not believe how much better they were!!
