My doctor warned me to be moderate, and that the "ideal weights" were both unrealisticly low and in many cases borderline unhealthy.
I'm not going by chartsThank you! Being a smidgeon over 6', ever weight chart says my 'ideal' is 186...When I was 185, people said I look sick. When I was 165, people thought I was dying, my mother (who I hadn't seen in a very long time then) started weeping thinking her youngest was about to pass away...this was when I realized these weight charts and my unhealthy obsession with them were idiotic.
I'm still 6', weigh 197, and whatever...
I'm not going by charts
I weighed 145 (at 6'3") until I was 30.
Really long in the limb.
I stopped active bike riding and swimming about the same time.
I'm feeling better by the day.
NOT shooting for the weight of my 20's
I just know that I can see my toes without leaning forward. I can stand straight legged and bend over to tie my shoes. My bass hangs better
Tis all good!
