Well, GOF's I finally got my two Eden EX110 8-ohm cabs. Wow, they are incredible for the size!

They really are. I've got one (had two, sold one to a guy in need) of the 112EX cabs that get it done.

Lately though, to my surprise I've been leaving it at home, favoring a (gasp!) 440Live box loaded with an Eminence Legend. great alternative when putting bass thru the PA is not an option but the room is rather large

EDIT: I just googled and it showed up on eBay. I did consider those but the shipping to Alaska was nearly the same price as the unloaded cab. Then I would have to buy the raw speaker too. Is the cab pretty light?

If you buy one of his cabs without the speaker installed, does he tell you what speaker it's designed to work with?

I was actually considering a pair of the small geeter 15" cabs, no ports and I have some nice 15" in woofs that are perfect for small sealed cabs. I see he has a similar bass cab with a port on the back which might be easier to seal.

Following up on this, the one thing I hate about this cab (my Eden, too) is the damned carpet covering. Whoever thought this was a good idea never lived in a dusty climate, and DANG sure never owned a cat.

Additional aside: the old PBass is really showing her age (who ain't? ) and in need of a fret job...and to be honest is just getting a bit heavy. So, I dusted off a USA made Peavey Foundation Bass Ive essentially had as a backup but really never played, tuned it up for a dance the other night, and...was amazed at how powerful it sounded thru my Rumble 500/above described cab. Essentially a Jazz Bass neck, and a couple pounds lighter than my Fender; made for a pleasant evening.

Too much to do this week and feeling rotten. Taxes, working from home in the evenings some and supervising lawn care (I'm milking out this heart problem; mowing is a lot easier when I'm just watching my wife do it). If I exert myself I get a throbbing pain around my sternum.

Sir Paul, the appalled, @BassmanPaul probably working on his bunny suite for Sunday sice he's got GK's to entertain.

I sometimes clean my rat fur cabinets with mouse wash. It works well but might attract cats.

You can also do the rat fur to cat fur conversion and they will self-clean. Short hair tends to shed more and if you have dogs they can attack. Just need to store them in a litter box.

That sounds great even on craptop speakers. He just needs to update the lyrics. No one calls their loved ones anymore, just send a short text, then get back to doing something more fun that interacting with real people and trying to have a real relationship.

Got up this AM feeling full of "piss and vinegar". Decided it was time to do a little yard work (snow FINALLY melted). Got up with the Wife, had breakfast, got dressed and opened the front door. Out in the front yard was a damned bear.

wear little noisy bells? carry pepper spray? how about carrying a rifle and shouting "hey bear" and every now and then shooting the rifle? I'm afraid of bears and don't think little bells and pepper spray are enough of a deterrent.

Yeah....I do a lot of hiking up here and while I don't wear "little bells" I figure that my 30-06 will dissuade any Bears that can't read...
