I feel like being eaten by zombies would be good. Pain radiating to top and bottom of my chompers on one side all the way to the middle. It snickers at pain meds. Comes and goes at least in intensity. We all had a good time with mom, despite the pain.
I hope everyone had a great time with their mothers and/or those they may have impregnated over the years.

When I was a boy we didn't waste our time with forums we just yelled at people for not having a wem copycat and for having the Wurlitzer too loud in the mix (although to be fair it can never be too loud in the mix and much easier to lift than a B3) so count me in.
So, the other day I got rid of my qsc rmx1450. Even though I got a replacement fan 1/2 as loud, it was right next to my "work station."
I'm going with powered speakers or just old fashion heat sink amps.
I'm twice as Psyched as I was when I got that replacement fan.
Don't get me wrong: awesome stage/practice amp-- pure clean sound. Just a bit too much in the little music room.

These days I seem to get on Talkbass when I am sitting in dialysis. My business trip in California went OK, I had terrible swelling in my legs but that went away with the dialysis, as it can help get rid of fluid retention. Fortunately my remainin kidney passes urine nicely. Now, I got the machine working at home so I can have the TV on and multitask. Wife isn't happy as obviously I can't do much tied to the tubes. But I am not going to the hospital for the treatment, so overall it saves time. I just need to automate the process so there are no inadvertent blood sprays all over the floor.
I’m most sorry that you are going through such trials. My thoughts are with you.

Getting physical therapy for my back and neck. Guy wanted to hang me by the neck. Not out of hate, anger and frustration like most people; he just wanted to put my neck in traction. So he talked about that while he was giving me my electroshock therapy. Not out of hate... But TENS therapy for my back. So I asked if he'd seen how they store the cadavers (they hang them by their ear holes in the fridge). He had and explained how some also get stored in a tank like sardines and some personal experiances. Half hour later I'm in a chair with my head in a sling, not like my ass in a sling from beer induced poor judgment, but for stretching my neck back to normal. He looks up from doing paperwork and asks how I'm doing. I said better than a cadaver!

When I was a struggling musician in my earlier twenties I almost applied for a job as a "crematory engineer" at the local city cemetery out of desperation. I figured my engine room experience in the merchant marine might qualify me for the job. Luckily I never got the nerve to follow through.
I grew up with a kid whose dad owned a funeral home. He and his brother seemed to think it was kinda grusome. Now both brothers own it and all the other funeral homes in a pretty large area. Several counties. And they do the dirty work!
I can't remember if I already shared this tidbit on the death subject :
