OK, I'm here. I know I am grumpy because I'm almost 70, wear glasses but still have a 40" monitor so I don't have to squint. I have hearing aids, but turn them off when I don't want to hear something.

My hair is falling out and growing back in all the wrong places.

Until recently, I thought you guys had mellowed and were not as grumpy as I am. But then, I had a run-in with two of your members yesterday and all that has changed.

I think I qualify to be a member. Do I need a sponsor? Do I just make my number up? Do you offer any courses on how to be grumpier? .

I started playing bass in 1969 with a used Teisco Bass, a Challenger amp that had a turntable on top of it, and a 2x15 Utah cab as big a frig my uncle made. May I have a Number please?

When we were kids, in the old days, people used real numbers. “I used to walk 20 miles to get to school in a snow storm without a hat.” At some point, people realized that those numbers were imaginary. But to older folks, imaginary numbers are very real and part of how they remember things.

Mathematicians thought, hey why not, and adopted imaginary numbers to get around the lack of real numbers to solve certain equations.

We live in an “i” world, so the idea of using inumbers that exist in a different plane should not be so unusual. I propose that imaginary numbers be used in assigning club membership to those that wish to be counted.

My man @Stumbo don't need no steenkin' number, or no steenkin' P-Bass with flats and a cheap "tort" plastic pickguard. I never asked for a number, but I was rejected out of hand anyway way back at post #67. And I like it that way. I'm a ray of sunshine...
