These days EMT’s have to be concerned with what deadly drug an addict may have on their face.

This is just the icing on the cake of what is so wrong with our society. This, cops and EMTs having to wear gloves for the most basic interaction, condoms just to even talk on the phone...

Damn. No wonder people prefer the digital world

been a nurse for 34 years......Joe don't blow. you'll die before I do Mouth to mouth. came lip to lip with too many puke filled mouths in my young/stupid days. :vomit:, unless of course you are family (but not in-laws).
Don't they have some sort of tubes for that nowadays anymore? No insult intended sir, I highly respect your line of work and what you do.

Sir, with all due respect, I think the digital world is probably the biggest contributor to our problems nowadays. But I'm going to blame @BadExample anyway so there's that!..... :bag: ...runs off...

Proctologically speaking, the digital world is not what its cracked up to be.
If construction workers built structures the way programmers build code, the first good breeze that came along could easily destroy civilization as we know it.

What are the best tubes for nurses? Nice curvy ones I should think. :)

I too have the greatest respect for our nurses. They wade though excrement to help people to live.

When I had my Bypass they told me my first shower post surgery would be with a Nurse. I imagined this tall Blonde vision in a wet suit! I got a male nurse and I had to wash my own underneath bits!!! :(

Now Mr Nurse why such a demeaning user name??

+1 for nurses! They are the unsung heroes of medicine and true hands-on practitioners. Of the myriad of jobs I could never see myself wanting to do or capable of doing at the level I've benefited from, nursing is at the top!

My college roommate is a male nurse in a PICU (Edit: I actually think he does NICU as well - an even greater challenge). The skill and dedication it takes to work with these weakest of infants where every minute is a struggle to hold onto life is a stress I can't even imagine. Thankfully there are people who make the profession look easy...it would not be for me.

No offense, but if there is no bag around, I prefer you don't kiss me on the lips to save my life. :D

My wife is also an awesome nurse. I appreciate your efforts and the comments from all on this topic.

thanks for that, beans! very interesting dude; never heard of him before... Seymour Cray!
fnord!
I've been a computer nerd for decades-- it's my current occupation until I win the Powerball. Cray computers is the holy grail of early computing and 'thinking ouside the box.' He did incredible things that helped shape modern computing. Oh and thanks @beans-on-toast for posting that clip.
