I'm picturing a group of kids running along holding your guide ropes.Bevause I am one lazy SOB, I still haven't canvassed the local motorcycle parts shops and haven't asked my buddy where he got his similar tires.
One other option is to take a three hour hell ride of a drive to Butuan, which is a larger city with more shops. We go there on shopping trips every now and then.
But due to my laziness, the fallback choice of getting the OEM tires, the crappy ones made in India, from the Yamaha dealer might be it.
Living in the Philippines next installment will be about getting clothes that fit for a guy who is 6'2" and 230 lbs. in a country where the average height is about 5'3".
When I walk down the street here I look like one of those balloons at the Macy's Thangsgiving Day parade in NYC.
ROFL, I'm already buying ahead on clothes. Last time to PI I bought a pair of really nice Jeans. My size. But you know what? I'm not shaped like a girl. Worst pair of jeans I ever had for comfort. Every late summer/fall I buy all the shorts, T-shirts, short sleeve shirts I can find that fit. Oh, and belts, been buying my size, oversize and undersized expansive Deluth Trading belts that last.Bevause I am one lazy SOB, I still haven't canvassed the local motorcycle parts shops and haven't asked my buddy where he got his similar tires.

Your wife lets you have a wallet????My wife and I have a routine. Before I go into a music store I voluntarily surrender my wallet. It helps keep me in check when I know that I have nothing to spend.

< super grumpy today. fostering a stray german shepherd, been three days since she ran up to us in public, taking her to the vet tonight to have her scanned for an id microchip. i want to keep her. we have to prove that we search for her owner for 30 fays (legally), before a GS rescue and/or shelter would even consider taking her. sorry flea bag, worms etc. completely rehabilitating her. will probably end-up with her, not looking forward to finding housing for my wife and I that will allow for us all.
would love to share pix, but not a good idea if she turns to be stolen etc

Otis is quite a fine figure of a dog who could well be destined for greater things.....

looking at Bass porn alone sends her into a Granny Clampett seizure.
She's not young and gullible. She has her own job and does her own shopping . Just what she buys herself and what I buy myself are miles apart in cost. My Leverage is I'm working every weekend double header last week and a triple this past weekend so it's all in good fun.Try taking her shopping where she likes to go, then invite her to stop by a music store with you on the way home. Don’t buy anything though. Just talk enthusiastically about things that you like. She’ll grow to associate a happy day with going to a music store.
Just try not to wake up till the deam is over.![]()

Flo & Eddie have done backup on a lot of records.
More or less the words of Mickey Mantle.Worked with them years ago on what is currently touring as the "Happy Together" tour, I think we did one of the first stops on their first tour, which featured 5 or 6 oldies acts doing a couple of songs each, followed up with Flo & Eddie for 20-30 minutes and the finale was everybody back on stage singing Happy Together. Some acts aged well, some made me realize that if you plan on living a long life you better take care of yourself![]()
I 'd love to put my pants on in the morningViva la difference!
Don't know how I'd put on my pants in the morning if it weren't for my wife...![]()
Wish all the old guys who mighta mentioned this^^^ sorta thing when I'd break a finger too drunk to make a good fist...or crash a bike....or go way too fast on skis......or a skateboard.........well, I just wish they hadn't been so completely full of crap I couldn't stand to listen. Which reminds me, my memory must really be going in my old age 'cause I'm pretty sure when I was younger I knew a helluva lot more than I do now.if you plan on living a long life you better take care of yourself![]()
I know for sure I was smarter from a book learning perspective when I was younger, but sadly I didn't have the wisdom or experience I do today to know what I should have done with it! Fortunately I was surrounded by brilliant engineers (who wrote the books I studied in college), military legends, and lots of Navy and Marine Corps pilots, so my ego was more than kept in check - I think that helped me grow up more quickly than I otherwise would have.cause I'm pretty sure when I was younger I knew a helluva lot more than I do now.
