Now if you're going to start injecting facts, forum rules (we've all agreed to) and "the obvious" into this discussion, how can anyone else expect to make their case? The only thing we reasonably have left is the liar, liar pants of fire defense, and IMO that's not likely to carry the day on this one. Just my opinion of course...

The way I see it, we got a new home, and we got to take all the old furniture and family treasures with us, seems like a win to me! Flame suit on...standing-by for incoming!

When I first came to this thread I looked at Forums>Bass Guitar>General Forums>
Amps and Cabs. The post thread titles were so very nebulous and user specific,
I didn't see (without doing an in depth rabbit hole research) anything that was
general enough to answer my general Ampeg SVT400T question. Amps-GOF just happened to catch my eye. Found myself sitting 'fer a spell. Felt a comfort zone,
'tho I'm not an amp tech, but an AE and approaching "GOF" I can identify at times.
Anyone at this point looking for sage, meat 'n potatoes info will no longer have this site as a "tech" option. Instead,
AMPS FAQ!! Info on OHMS, Allsize RIGS-OverUnderPowerCabs DIY TechTalk-Links
is apparently the go-to now. I'm nobody but suggest anyone wishing to continue
the tech assist capacity should go there and share. Anyone wishing to sit on the porch and talk about most things in general, including amp concerns should pull
up a chair and enjoy life. Just remember, either way, this ain't your forum and
you still will be moderated and freedom of speech is a thing of the past. There
will always be someone telling you what's allowed. And as GOF's others want
you swept out of the way as you're no longer considered relevant.
Reality, although often not politically correct, is still reality.
Best to all incl. Mods, Admins, Staffers and white knights.

Regardless of whether we live in the basement or wherever, WE know who we are and what we are capable of and what we have accomplished. Our generation made everything modern possible by doing the early steps to get where we're at now. A lot of us remember bulletin boards before most TB'ers knew what a forum was.

I will continue to come here because I care about the people who meet on this thread. And GOF's you'll all find your way here because you can. Might be a good deal to be off the beaten path, less juveniles to come by with dirty shoes on mucking up the kitchen! :laugh:

I'll see you all next time. Heads up, spirits up GOF's.
