Keeping the crow can be a challenge when you grab it in under 2 years and live in the land of hot easy chix and cheap cold beer land! Never screwed up at work. I'll stop there. The honorable CMCPO Charles J. Perkins used to say, "It takes 1000 attaboys to make up for one Oh S---.
Minor correction: Crow contractually earned at 6 months (rent-a-crow, 6 year contract), E-5/PO2/AT2 under 2 years.

NOOOOO! Brass balls and a heart of stone! I hate everyone and everything! This is my theme song:

Yes! This is certainly true. BadExample is a nogoodnik if there ever was one!! I agree with this!!! I approve this message.

(Don't worry, Baddy, your secret is safe with me. I don't tell nobody.)

What is everyone doing this weekend? Let’s start with the kid late for class, @BadExample what’s up brother ?

HERE SIR!

Got an early start on yard work. Ivy from the 70's Wrigley field is doing great. 12 ft wide and 3 ft tall after a year. I fear ratchet and gizmo have died, unless they went dormant early. Wife has threatened me about shopping tomorrow, so hopefully I can salvage Sunday.

Looking forward to a nice sunny day in the country tomorrow.

Have to buy yet another Samsung 500GB solid state external drive tomorrow. I’m loading CD’s into iTunes so I can listen to the songs in the car. I’ll never get them all loaded so I’m being selective.

iTunes converts the songs to unprotected .m4a which is a high resolution packaging that the car will accept. From iTunes I copy the songs onto directories on a thumb drive. The small thumb drive is easier than using an iPhone, Apple CarPlay, and a cable.

It’s cumbersome as it is but I don’t see an easier way around it.

For the record, I have a genuine imitation leather jacket too!

As I'm going to be 67 on my next birthday and I can't haul a 100 pound bag of taters like I used to (or even 50 pounds LOL) I'm rethinking my rigs. I have a pair of Edens and two Gallien Kruegers. The mini double-stack sounds incredible for the size. GK MB500 with two Eden EX110's. Amazing for the size. For fun, I bought an Ampeg PF-350 and it sounds excellent through the PF-112 I sent back, and the SVT210av I sent back. As nice as it sounds I haven't warmed up to it like I have with the GK's. So I'm selling the PF-350. I know I like GK stuff for the weight. The MB500 seems very powerful for my modest needs.

I have two different paths I'm considering. I'm thinking of donating my EX110's to a local church, and buying a pair of Schroeder Mini 10+L's (17 pounds) to keep for my mini stack. If anyone has tried Schroeder vs. Eden please advise me as I'm kind of torn about this-- the Edens are so nice but 8 pounds heavier EACH cab.

The other thought I'm having is for smaller gigs I'm thinking of getting an Ampeg SVT-CL micro stack. It has 100 watts and 210's. Other TB'ers who own them say they're loud and powerful. I could keep that setup in my trunk of my Subaru Impreza always ready. But for sure it won't compete with the Edens or the potential Schroeders.

Any thoughts, GOF's? Just thinking out loud here. BTW if the Ampeg doesn't sell on eBay at the end of the auction I'm going to end the sale here and keep it. It's a proven piece of equipment and really is much more powerful sounding than its 350 watts. All opinions welcome! :D

Present and accounted for. Pondering how I'm going to deal with a pool removal. Options are bad, worse and freekin horrible. At least the county chief engineer has been reasonable so far.
Hey aged I work for "entity" and I think the "entity" department employees go to special schools called "How to Make Any Home Renovations a Nightmare Experience!" All kidding aside, I've found that good people in the building department never kept their jobs long because their consciences go to them after a while. The purpose of permits and inspectors is to GENERATE INCOME. Everyone knows that. Add to that some young inspector with a tiny amount of authority and you have a real jerk on your hands.

Best of luck to you Jon!

Yeah, I had to decide to fill an inground gunite pool or not. The only practical method actually did not remove the pool. Drill big holes and then fill with dirt I was told. Power tamping every so often as the hole was filled.

I ended up coating with fiberglass and keeping the pool in operation.

Good luck with your project.
