Do you ever spruce the place up?
@Jeff Scott as my late Norwegian guitarist/childhood friend used to say... "ja, dat's a goot one... "
We are putting up shrink wrap plastic on our windows inside the house. Plenty of batteries for power outages. Lots of battery powered lanterns. We're ready for most emergencies, but now that you mention it....

We're looking for a good online resource on how to prepare a trunk or something for emergency evacuations. We have a very small first aid kit, need a larger one, a month's worth of dried meals (like MRE's) and water. Any ideas, GOF's on where to find an online checkoff list for emergency evacuation prepared kits?

EDIT: After some research I found this. Good for anyone to go through it and see if you're prepared for an emergency evacuation:

Out in remote areas:
Air horn or cow bell to ward off bears.
Military or police tactical knife and flashlight.
Fishing line and hooks.
Magnesium fire starter.
Gloves, big pack of socks, disposable.
Antipeptic such as providone or betadine.
Crazy glue in medicine kit.
Important info on a thumb drive.

I've been lurking around other threads in the forum. Sheesh I forgot what it was like to hear opinions of 30ish musicians who know everything and are always right. It's tiresome. Sometimes I feel like I need a break from all social online stuff. Went to FB and it's the same old same old. I need some good news. Will someone please win the lottery!??? drool

I actually kept it a bit on the quiet side for God's dog's sake. Just played loud enough to make them a bit nervous, but not run to the basement.

I can't play very long yet from nerve problems and muscle atrophy. Getting better with that, but I mostly messed around. I got some of those big triangular pics last time I was at Sam Ash and messed with those some. I kind of like it. The only use I found for those little egg shaped sissy pics is to throw them like a Japanese throwing star at coworkers. I was just getting good at nailing them in the eyeballs when I ran out. I asked nicely, but they won't give them back. No respect for my property.

So I have two cabs assembled and in service right now, a Bag End 18 (really old) and a DIY 15 with a custom aluminum dist cover. Sounded great together bi-amping. Then I got a GB Streamliner. Cabs sounded great separately (BE very dark, peters out at 2KHz). Together on the GB SL, they sounded good but the difference was not as pronounced as when I was bi-amping. So I've been playing mostly through one or the other cab, depending on mood. Then I got another GB SL. So tonight I split the sig from my ax to the two SL's and wow, it sounded great. I tried a redneck biamp with eq, then set the knobs the same. Both sounded really good. I expect a crossover would sound magical, so I'll be getting one soon. I can use it for PA anyway.

Hope to play around more tomorrow night, so I stuffed the 2nd SL under the couch, the one the wife doesn't need to know about. @Al Kraft understand "need to know." Found my ML200 I stuffed in there from last time. Oops. Good thing she didn't dust under the couch since then!

I WON! see above :D Great tone and not busted by the night boss!

Try to help out the youngsters, my brother, but here is where you belong. We took a hit in the mind of many. Some accepted it, some are healing and some decided to curl up in a ball and die.

Bi-amp? I'm trying to get one amp to work..."curl up in a ball"...not me. Too many battles to fight...just looking for the right "battle ground"...:help:.

Will someone please win the lottery!

Me granny was of Irish heritage and used to enter the Irish Sweepstakes. In the mid 1960's she won $75K which was a lot back then. We all went to House of Pancakes to celebrate. Never been to a pancake place before, all the whipped butter you could eat.

Speaking of whipped toppings, around that time Herb Alpert enjoyed a lot of success with Whipped Cream and Other Delights. Whenever I see that album, I think of House of Pancakes. Herb owned A&M records and made a lot of money.

If that was being served at IHOP, I would be going there as well :bag:...my wife could be watching.
