Really fab, love the out of the box look!

Here's my new Marco Bass build, which I'll be picking up later this week. Still thinking on the control layout and preamp package config.

Beautiful bass there Charlie!

Present at the hospital.

Kathy doesn’t get to come home today. More likely it will be tomorrow.

Our prayers for Kathy. Believe me brother. I get it. Here’s to tomorrow!

RW, Prescient and unaccountable. Got the best possible early Xmas present today. Like a reprieve from the governor. Turns out that our son decided that it would easier to host the Xmas gathering at his house, rather than hauling his wife, two toddlers and all the accompanying paraphernalia to our house. Hallelujah!
Now I stand a decent chance of getting through the holidays without felony charges being filed. Not a 100% for sure, but better odds than before.

And you get to leave rather than hoping visitors leave.

Late Sunday roll call GOF's! Please report if all toes fingers and appendages are accounted for. It's hard to believe that we're hours away from the weekend to be over. Seems like the older you get the faster time goes.

Happy Sunday GOF's. Sorry I've been slacking on my roll call. Wife Carey is still healing and frankly I'm weary of being chief cook and bottle washer, and CNA. But when I think of how desperate I was when we medivaced to Seattle it all becomes small potatoes for me. For all the years she's taken care of me I can man up and do everything for the next few months. She is getting better and trying to do a little more every week.

We're doing Christmas shopping today, we're going to have another turkey dinner. Nothing bigger than a 12 pound turkey. Even most of that will get food saved for later. I'll be completely cook the dinner and clean up. We'll probably watch It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th Street. Some hot toddy's and pumpkin pie after dinner.
Oops! Missed this earlier. All extremities continuing to function at about the same level. Gig at American Legion Saturday night went well although the crowd was a little sparse-rained most of the day. That's cause for hibernation in South Floridao_O. IDK what they'd do if it snowed. Funny part is that most of them moved down here from up north.

Given you've been given a great reprieve, I humbly submit that you assist in kitchen or toddler duties to make sure your kind hosts don't have a mountain to deal with when you leave. It does make sense too-- we as GOF's had to do it all those years, now it's their turn!

Oh, I will most definitely be on toddler duty! There's nothing I like better than being with my grandkids. I'd even sit at the kid's table* if there were enough kids to warrant a separate table. They're much more fun to be with than the adults! Too bad there's likely to ever be only the two of 'em.

*(like I'd be given a choice...)

Kid’s table etiquette:

No changing diapers at the dinner table.

No taking your cloths off.

No burping or passing wind untill everyone has finished eating.

No food fights.

No talking with your mouth full.

Ask permission before eating from other people’s plates.

No sharing bottles, excluding booze.

Everyone has to eat all their vegetables.

I don't wear diapers (so far), but I take exception to all the rest of those "rules". You've excluded everything that makes sitting at the kid's table desirable! And most of the stuff that gets me relegated there every year. You missed several gems, or maybe the kids at your gatherings just don't put much thought or effort into developing their craft:

No overtly satanic rituals involving bloodletting or animal sacrifices.

No mashed potato sculptures.

No jello projectiles

No cranberry sauce on the ceiling or walls.

No yule logs burning outside the fireplace.

No sharpee tattoos on anyone under 5.

No vegetable based Stonehenge replicas.

No cat shaving.

I could go on, but clearly, the kids at your gatherings need to show more initiative.
There are traditions to be upheld, lest we descend into civility!!!
