When I joined I was told that to get a number, I had to send $1 each to all the other members, but more keep joining, so I'm constantly trying to catch up. You could try that, but so far, I'm not getting any results with it. Now Paypal is getting on my case about sending out all those $1 friend payments. If any of you haven't received your $1 yet, I'm working on it.

Some of the members were sending wooden nickels, so I heard. The only contents in my mailbox from new members has been $1 (or equiv. currency) per envelope. They do add up, though.

So sorry to hear about your losses. It does seem like we often go through periods of time when all of a sudden people around are at the end of their journey. The fact that you can still see blessings in your life is a very good thing...you should hold on to that.
