Yep, I keep wondering how long it will take Chuck Todd to realize the inevitable

Those really in the know will tell you, the best barbers are bald! The "bad haircut" they wear is actually a toupee!! The bald barber has an appreciation for hair that is unmatched amongst the non-folliclly challenged.
I know this because my dad, who went bald at 28, was a barber. And ALL of the barbers he worked with were bald, or extremely balding. One of them sold him a toupee, which my mother hated! She had never seen him with hair before! (Fortunately my mom's dad had a very thick head o' hair all his life, so I still got some.)
And the packed barbershop? Mostly retirees, just there to pass the time or have someone to talk to. The barber has already heard all they have to say

Actually had no idea who Chuck Todd is until I looked it up.
Like the barbershop scenes in Coming to America!

A barber's kid refusing to get his hair cut. Blame it on the influence of the 60's.
My wife cuts my hair as well. At some point I got fed up with it being long and cut once a year. I find it way better having it shorter. I've been cutting my wife's hair for many years. It works out well, we both wind up with what we want.
I cut my wife's bangs just once. Once. She goes to the hair salon now. I've never even asked her to cut mine-- she's too nervous to try something like that. Speaking of.... my last haircut was $22 and I tipped 15%. Wife says it's the worst cut he's given me and he's been my barber for years. Maybe time for a new barber? Not too many in Sitka, Alaska...

Ask her to try and fix it. It’s easier when it’s already been cut. A bad cut can’t wind up worse. Lots of men’s haircutting with scissors videos. Then take the $25 and buy your wife something.
Otherwise, go back to the barbershop, tell them that your wife sent you back to have it fixed. Barbers remember stuff like that and they probably won’t make that mistake again.

Now into my second year of correcting a half an hour with a hairdresser.
My daughter cuts my hair. She went to school and is licensed and all that stuff.
Of course I should point out that on my best days, I look like an ugly version of Quasimodo. Consequently, a great haircut doesn’t help much.

Whut heard tell - there are only three kinds of mens' haircuts. Moe, Larry and Curly.
I don’t know what it is, babies, little kids, and dogs all see something in me and reach out. I must have a recognizable face, people often ask if they know me.
Tonight I was waiting in a lobby for an elevator. A little Russian girl, about three, came running across the room and gave my leg a big hug. She wouldn’t let go, her mother had to peel her off. She totally ignored my wife. Tiny kids in Walmart often outstretch their arms and call me daddy, to the embarrassment of their red faced mothers.
I swear, don’t look anything like Santa.

The kids from an orphanage that went to my grade school all had Moe Howard bowl cuts. We used to have three vaxen at work, they were called larry, curly, and moe.

I had this same issue. I ended up getting a 4K because you don’t need to upgrade anything. The TV upgrades the signal. Even my older standard definition DVD’s look beautiful on my new Sony. The TCL has a better picture than Samsung. Samsung looked too blue/white for me.
Been a Sony guy forever. Won’t buy another brand.
The colors of the current large screen sets are spectacular. You also can view a big screen in a small room without any ill effects. The resolution is so high.
One thing that I wish that my current Panasonic TV had is a headphone jack. I’ve seen Sony sets with them.

When herds of vaxen roamed the earth!
Oft heard, seldom seriously disputed: DEC couldn't market a cure for death.
I wasn't aware that a Sony (or any other TV) could do that.
They upconvert but results can vary. This is done by adding pixels or lines and some processing. From what I’ve seen, the image is not fully equal to a 4K signal. On my current older set when it up converts a lower resolution to 1080p, the image is not full screen.
Hmmmm. I've gotten full screen images from my older standard definition DVD's and enjoying everything looking more high-definition I wonder if you have a setting in your setup to allow you to fill out your screen?
For those who think young people today have no social conscience:
My parrot rescue has been hosting this week a group of six students from Indiana State University. They're part of a program in which kids use their spring break to travel to non-profits all over the US to WORK. Every day they've worked hard helping with cleaning, feeding, landscaping...and they pay their own travel, food, and lodging.
