- Eye exam the other day shows cataracts bad enough the VA sets me up for surgical consult
- Near blew out my spine loading pickup#1 for a gig, when...
- Battery finally died, requiring moving everything to pickup#2
- This Near 63 geezer with a bad back had to carry the old battery core into the store, and the new battery back out to the truck, as the less-than-masculine young fella behind the counter couldn’t lift them.
- All of this gives a wonderful excuse for excessive libations later.
So...

Edit: change the brand to "Coors" and there you have a Smoky and the Bandit plot. Burt Reynolds and Paul Williams kind of movie. Personally, if I find myself stuck in 1975 I'll go watch Death Race 2000. It is the only antidote for a Billy Jack movie festival.
Saying "where [optional strong language] did I put my spectacles?" is funnier if one also says "by cracky!" a lot.
