Thank you. Only cost me about $25 at the CVS. I used two colors, a silver overall to get the bottom and a blue dye at the roots. My actual hair is still mostly brown (I think) but I have gray patches that aren't very attractive so I have been mostly keeping it blonde because the roots don't show as much when it's lighter.

Whenever I'm in a big band situation and the part says "Fender Bass", I tell the BL "I can't play this part, I play a Gibson". The look I get is priceless.

Oh yes doctor's appointment here too. So kind of a trash day all around.

I'm rather grateful for today, whatever day of the week it might be. Yesterday was a net loss; I have some health issues that create havoc for me sometimes when I expend too much energy, and the party on Saturday definitely fell into that category. So yesterday was spent in full-on energy recharge mode. Today I seem to have a fairly full battery, which means I might be able to drag myself out of bed long enough to get a few things done. No telling how long the battery will last though. It's always an adventure.
Being only semi-retired, I do have some work on the books, but only three jobs. I'm going to make an attempt at practicing for a show I have coming up, in-between. And, of course, try to get a little gardening in.

Yesterday all the grandkids came over to Granddad’s where we are staying. I had forgotten how exhausting three four year old girls and a two tear old boy can be. We has fish and chips and some Chinese food from a nearby Chippy. There was so much food! No wonder that is an epidemic of obesity here in the UK.
Our host had to work today so we did the washing, pegged it out and have just finished getting it all in.
Hearing a jet above, I saw a Beluga flying over. Airbus built these things to carry large assemblies from one plant to another. They are massive. I’ve seen three since we’ve been here.

Have you stopped by any music shops? It would be interesting to compare prices.
Someone I worked with bought two Martin HD28 guitars in NYC, flew home to Germany via the UK. In the UK they told him that he would clear cutoms in Germany, in Germany since he came from the UK, he didn't have to go through customs. The system was new at the time, maybe there was some confusion.
He sold one of the guitars in Germany and said that the profit paid for his airfair.

I didn’t care about synths at the time.
With an octave pedal and a filter or two, I could cop synth bass parts just fine on my P-bass.
What got my goat, was some of the disco stuff where you camped on one chord for what felt like 15 minutes at a time, just bouncing the octave.
I got so jealous of the keyboard player, that I grabbed a used ARP 2600, and put it on a little stand.
That way, at least I could play the bass part one-handed, and drink myself silly at the same time!

I think that Ukes are catching on everywhere. They are popping up in many new recordings to add a bit of sparkle.
A local school was just in the news with a story of how they bought ukuleles for all the kids. Although in the UK there have always been ukulele orchestras. The nice thing about them is that they come in different sizes.
