A more practical example....

Interacting with someone in the audience while you are playing can pull you out of time. That could be in the past or the future depending on your level of distraction. A refocus and time shift is needed to pull you back in and sync with the beat.

Time travel is a reality for most players. Perfect timing is way overrated.

I prefer to simply time-travel forward to the afterparty, and forget about it.

That way, I get to the snack bar before everything has been picked over...

Around 1999 in the so-called modern calendar the idea of the time traveling soldier named John Titor entered the evolving InterWebs consciousness. Maybe a "hoax" along the lines of something Markoff Chaney might devise, not really different than a photo of a cell phone in a photo of Abraham Lincoln's cabinet, or a ghost in Tombstone, AZ. Philadelphia Project fake news soon in a meme near you!

According to Schrödinger's Marie Antoinette, if your cake is in the box then you already ate it?

Unless Art Tatum = True

... Or if you're uncertain whether or not you're in Heidelberg, or if your photos have particles or are just waving at you. Either way, it could just be a Fig Newman of your imagination.
