Happy Friday, GOF's! Roll call report in that all appendages accounted for. No big plans for the weekend. It's kind of gray out today. Might putter around in the shed to do some clean up. Got in a little match with wife Carey about cleaning up in the house. Our place is small so space is premium. We need to clean out our extra rooms. But wife doesn't want to part with a lot of stuff she never uses anymore. Sounds like her husband! :roflmao:

I guess I'll always be in an ongoing battle with 'stuff' in our house. Winters in Sitka get dark and cold so when we're bored we--- shop Amazon! I think maybe next weekend we'll try a yard sale. BTW The Sitka Salmon Derby is in full swing. We don't own a boat but keep up with our friends in the Derby. Alaska has some pretty big salmon to catch! :D

What say ye, GOF's? What do you have planned this weekend?

No Friday night jam this week, so Saturday morning might actually be productive.

Plenty of projects that need attention. Getting some plants in the ground comes to mind for starters.

Present but not all here.

Weather says rain today and tomorrow. Received prototype boards, got a lot of soldering if I want to stay indoors.

Plan on feeding a mallard duck in the park on the way to the grocery this suppertime. He’s particularly fond of russian black bread and then sits with me for a while.

More major road closures this weekend. There’s another bike race on city streets. They just had one two weeks ago. Don’t know if we’ll be able to get out of the city. Last year they closed the streets for this event, residents were not allowed in or out with their vehicles, no exceptions. Held hostage by cadet cops.

That's ridiculous!

Hola, mis amigos y amigas!

Hope all is going well on your side of town.:)

Over on the "left coast" as some pejoritizers call it, it's overcast and cool...some heat last week though.
It's been a very long rainy season and now this? What happened to summer? Guess it will be here soon enough.
Nice and relaxing weather. Everyone's gone so it's just me at the humble abode...ah, silence.

I'm in the process of downsizing my gear...already sold all my basses except one (my fav..a 1983 Ibanez Musician) and my '84 Les Paul Studio. My old Sunn tube amps/cabs up next.:atoz: Oh well, it's been a great run. Maybe I'll keep a 200s head and pickup one of the new low, light and little cabs now out.

I do have a 15w tube Alamo Fury combo for low volume stuff. The HPF really helps it! Just no room at the inn anymore. I have other, less space consuming projects to work on now.

I've been cleaning them up and need to test them to make sure they're all good. They're in storage so it's a bit of a chore to get anything done. Fortunately I picked up a van recently so I can haul them, if necessary. @BassCliff got his truck, I got my van! If you're not following Cliff, check him out. Great gig reports and he's gigging a lot around So. Cal. He's not a GOFr (yet)! Lots of fun following his detailed photo/gig reports.

Anyways, you guys/gals have a great weekend! Hasta la later, baby.

@BassmanPaul @Stumbo @Al Kraft @Morrighan @LBS-bass and the rest of the GOF crew, what say ye? :)

Excuse me if I omitted your name, we are getting to be a bigger and livelier crowd!
No gigs at all planned for this weekend, and I might even get a day off on Saturday, which I don't get very often at this time of year. I'm expecting to get a new bass on Saturday so that will probably consume much of my evening. My husband and I might go out to see some musical friends Saturday night. Sunday I might go to a jam with a couple of friends. I used to jam with them every Sunday but lately it's hard to find the time so it would be nice to catch up with them again.
