I'm lost in this conversation.....
One time in the early 2000's I had a dream of inventing mouspad material paper coffee cup sleeves, customized with my Alaskaboy logo on it. I told my father in law, who is a professional glass half empty guy, and when we went to Salem Oregon, he promptly took me to a grocery cart full of mousepad sleeves, all for 25 cents! I was dejected until I returned to Sitka and told my then boss. He said, "don't be depressed that it was already done, be happy that someone verified you had a good idea." I'm still looking for my next million dollar idea!
Here's what I spent the evening doing.. singing online karaoke. It's fun. I have a very nice cheap mixer, mic, and headphones and it takes me away to another place...

It was a fond part of my younger days when I was working as a mechanic and going to school.
One hard lesson that I learned early on is that ruthless people with money are eager to take your ideas and pay you very little in return. Your skills can make other people very wealthy and leave you with nothing.
You don't say?
Blues Monday is upon us.
The great Townes Van Zandt:
Music with a spark in it. Good for driving.
Don’t want music that makes you fall asleep. Tubular Bells does that to me every time I listen to it.

Speaking of fingers...I wish I could play and sing better...was getting pretty good in one of my blues bands...but quit them,,,and don't sing so much anymore...cannot sing in my reggae band...as much as I want to .... impossible to keep the groove steady...or play all the right notes of the riddim

I'm using something called iReal Pro to get and transpose charts for a project I've been working on. Lots of standards, fairly decent charts and I can easily change the keys to fit my voice and edit any questionable changes.Update to this: It's an app called Ireal tunes. Costs a few bucks as he put it.
My first was a strong 290 Cumapart(tuned to 315 +/-), second a Formula 350 with a 9 spd I was gonna have converted to 13 but never got a round tuit.Nice rig! My indoctrination to the big stuff was an Astro 95 with a Detroit 8V-71 318 and Roadranger 10 speed. I really loved the way those DD 2-cycles sounded, but they didn't feel like the most powerful engines out there. Mine wasn't that nice. First truck, economise.
