I would be a very happy man if Gibson reissue the Victory... complete with heavy maple body. The weight is part of its unique charm.

Gibson 2019...seriously?

I had a friend who owned an ESP fiver that was conpletely pink, body, headstock, neck, everything but the roseboard fretboard. I borrowed it occasionally and the ladies loved it. I'd take my natural ash jazz and nothing but that pink ESP had em constantly telling me how great i was.
I believe these are exclusive to Chicago Music Exchange,
Regardless, I really like them. Kind of a throwback to the old SG Melody Makers and Kalamazoo line. Pink and sonic/daphne blue are some of my faves.

I love those colours, particularly the greens and the yellow (isn't that much like TV yellow?).

Fender copied auto colors, does anyone criticise Leo for that?

Might as well be a white box with Frosted Flakes written on it.
Next time you see a white EB-3 with a maple fretboard for sale let me know.

Cant get into those colors combined with the tort pickguard. I love tort pick guards, but not on Gibson electrics. A few of those colors might look ok with black pickguards, but the tort guards just take them to a whole other level of gross.

Well, the pastel colors aren't really SG stuff... I have a hard time seeing SGs other than black, white or red.
The light pink, coral, green and blue look like colors I've already seen on some Strats... and they are gorgeous.

Those colors work for Fender, but don't work for Gibson. I'm a Fender fan, and think these new colors and tort guard combo looks hideous on an SG. I'll take my SG's with black guards and cherry finishes and my Fenders with burst and tort.
Your prerogative; fair enough. I imagine Gibson hopes for a different opinion from John & Jane Q. Buyer.
I'm sure they do as well, but I'm not going hold my breath. This wouldn't be the first time Gibson missed. Have we already forgotten about Gibson's 2015 cluster?

Let's give Gibson the benefit of the doubt. I'm sure they did some market research and there certainly is a market for the off-color/weird/custom look with a lot of bands. If not, the market will respond and these will go the way of the Zoot Suit series (which are now rare and appreciating).
I think I disagree with every comment the OP made regarding color. Fashions change, colors change, you gotta put something different out there even if it's a set of colors based on vintage appliances rather than vintage race cars.
Retro is still cool and women and hipsters buy guitars too.
