Gibson 2019...seriously?

Okay, new SG line...let's just hope they don't reintroduce the EB-3 basses in these colors!
Shell Pink, Coral, Frost Blue, Kerry Green
I really like pink, but I don't think it works here. As for the Coral, what was Gibson thinking...Hey, let's go with coral for those guys who think pink's for girl?
Frost blue? Okay, not too bad, but Kerry Green? How about calling it Barely Green?

Olive Drab, Gloss Yellow, Walnut, Heritage Cherry
Okay, the Olive Drab is just that, drab. It has all the appeal of of an actual olive. Gloss Yellow? Again, what were they thinking...Let's choose the most horrible shade of yellow available?
The Walnut? Not bad but done to death. The Heritage Cherry? Now that's what I call original!

This, however, i could really go for.
Yeah, even if they reissued it as an Epiphone.

I don't have a problem with them, I quite like them. I can't imagine a more boring-looking guitar than an "Angus Young Red" SG.

I pretty much agree with the OP. The only colors that don't strike me as either being pukey or cutesy overkill are Frost Blue, Walnut, and Heritage Cherry. I wonder if Gibson is following some recent fashion trend, e.g., watching too many fashion shows where the models wear clothes that I personally have never seen ANYBODY else wear.

I don't get the comments on here that seem to imply 'if I don't like it, it shouldn't be made'... variety's great and if you like black SGs then buy one.... I would not buy a pastel SG but think it's great for those that do... I don't want all guitars to be like the ones I like cause then the ones that are extra awesome to me would be just like everyone else's... I feel for guitar manufacturers, must feel like a damned if you do, damned if you don't sort of afair most days

Only colors I don't like there are the olive and the white Epiphone. I could live without the cherry and walnut. The rest are pretty cool, although I personally would not buy the pink. Coral, Frost blue, and Kerry Green are my favorites there. It's nice to see this recent trend toward some interesting colors (even though they are a 50s retro sort of thing) rather than the same white/black/sunburst/bright red/bright blue that has been pushed for fifty plus years.

Those same old colors remind me of the fetish folks have with drabbed grey/tan/brown/sand McMansions. Good LORD those are boring colors. Let's get some life in color around us. Hooray for the pastel basses... not the same boring colors and not way too loud (overly/harshly pigmented). Win win.
