Maybe, but 2020 may still be a year for consolidating their finances after the new owners bought the company just under a year ago and brought it out of bankruptcy.
Still, it wouldn’t take much at all to bring out simplified versions of their mainstays such as they previously did with their recent SG Special and Thunderbird Studio basses. Besides those easy ones, there’s a LOT they could do, really, if they’re into it
My gut feeling is that we'll see no new/revamped bass models in 2020. I'm also predicting that Epiphone's range of offerings will shrink and noticeably so in most areas, starting with electric guitars.
