Can I join the club? :D Here's my 2001 Blackbird. I love the fact that the only control is an on/off switch. This thing sounds AWESOME through my Super Bass topped Marshall stack! :bassist:

Cheers!

I have just acquired my first Gibson bass. It's a Gibson IV Bass from 1987. I have tried the Gibson forum to try and find out about this bass but haven't had any luck so far. It's a great bass which I am delighted to have added to my modest collection. I am not the nice lady in the photo by the way. She was a model who the pro photographer knew who was willing to make the photo rather splendid.

I have one of those. A nice bass. Tbird pickups, mahogany body and neck (set neck). They made them for a couple of years in the late 80s. Mine is an '87 also.
