Gig Footwear?

same as DWBass , skechers.

These things feel like rainbows on my feet. It’s hard to try wearing anything else once you’ve tried them.

I only own two pairs of shoes, both crazy expensive. But I’ve found that a good pair of shoes is versatile enough to go with many things, and will hold up well over time.

My ridiculously overpriced pair of shoes is a white pair of common projects. I wear these in the summer with shorts, light pants, “chinos”, etc. They are fashionable enough to dress up or down, with more formal pants and button down, or even sport coat.

My other pair is a really nice pair of brown chukka’s. I wear these year round when i wear jeans, and are typically the shoe i wear for work, where i am regularly wearing a sport coat or suit (never a tie), goes great with blue and gray, and while i have a lot of black shirts, i never wear black pants.

I don’t dress any differently for a gig than i do in my daily life. But my whole wardrobe matches my shoes basically, quality over quantity. Own two pairs of jeans, two pairs of “chinos”, two sport coats, two suits, two polos, a few t shirts, a few button downs, two sweaters, two 1/4 zip pull over layers, and basically that’s it. I would guess i own less than 25 articles of clothing, including shoes, belts, etc. (not including socks and underwear). Reduces decision making fatigue and stress about what to wear for certain events.

Love those pimp shoes!!!

Need 'em in two-tone gold and green, preferably suede and crocodile! Green fo da money & the gold is fo da honeys!

On a side note, in terms of comfort, the New Balance 998's are amazing -- keep you standing up straight with a ton of cushion. If you can get 'em on sale, they are fantastic for long stands/walks/romps (and backflips).
