I can get enough low end boost that it could make you nauseous! FAR more than I would ever use... I have a Shuttle 9 and it was not tubey enough for me, so I bought the Streamliner 900 and was happier with it. Got GAS and bought the Glockenklang Blue Soul - an AMAZING amp but it requires a bit of tweaking to get it to sound the way I like it. I have turned into a Darkglass fanboi so I got the amp and was NOT disappointed! I tend to use my pedalboard with the VMTD and Super Symmetry (and others) as the basic sound to get the tube warmth and drive I like and then use the B3K section of the head to kick in a really nice overdrive - to the point that I am thinking of selling my Red Witch Factotum! LOTS of compliments on the rig.
It is hard to describe the difference between the Accugroove and Bergantino sound - both are great. I find the sound of the Accugrooves a little more to my liking, although both sound great. To me (YMMV) the Bergs are a little more in your face and the Accugrooves a bit more naturally warm. Since I do not slap, the warmth is nice, especially since they are not tubby and slow sounding. I guess the difference is why I like the accuracy with a lush sound of the Theil speakers over others that may be more accurate but don't do it in a pleasing way.
I have had a few (very few) experiences the Schroeder line (a 2x12/tweeter cab) and it was MUCH more mid-range focussed that either the Accugrooves or the Bergs. FYI - I have had a couple different Berg 1x12 stacks, a 322 and LOVED the NV-610 but it would be way overkill for what I do. I could be happy with the Bergs but slightly like the Accugrooves better - personal preference rules!

Dan, this is great information! I don't slap much these days either. I'm a freelance player and play many styles. These days, I've been landing a lot of jazz (electric & upright), 50's/60's pop and country/Americana gigs. I've definitely felt the void on a warm low end with my Schroeder. I'm considering either a couple of Aguilar SL112's, Accugroove Wedgies 112's or just one Berg NV115 for these styles listed above. Also, since I play 4-6 times a week, I need something relatively light weight; preferably neodymiums, but I will buy ceramic if a cabinet is around 50lbs. I was kind of leaning to the Berg NV115 just to get that authentic sealed cab 115 sound, without sacrificing the mids needed to cut through some loud bands.
The problem is, since the market is always changing. In another 6 months I may be back to playing Smooth Jazz (slap), Grunge, rock/pop wedding band stuff where I would need both mid driven and scooped sound again. So my thinking was for a second cab to stack on a warm cab (or run single), I'd get a typical mid driven/highs friendly cab for cater to these styles; ala HDN Berg.
As for the head, I thought the Darglass MT900 looked like a great contender, being that I could get vintage tube sounds on p bass, and the next night some grungy rock sounds on my Ibáñez active bass. Or un colored scooped slap sounds for that matter.
What do you think? I need efficiency and versatility in my rig. What pairing would you go with to acheive this?
What I'm going to have to is just buy the MT900 and take it to Austin TX; they probably have all of these cabs in one shop lol.
