Girlfriends or wives getting hit-on at gigs?

I remember watching from stage a guy coming up to my girlfriend having to yell in her ear (loud show)... I just watched him with a great big smile on his face. watched my girlfriend with a great big smile on her face point at me. then he promptly looked at me, saw i was a darn sight bigger than he is, and walked away... :)

I feel like I'm frequently keeping an eye on where she is, making sure some dude isn't trying to get too friendly.

I love it when I hear people say things like this. Its not about some other guy trying to get too friendly, its about you being worried your girlfriend will be too friendly with him, lose interest in you, and/or sleep with him.

In short its about you not trusting your girlfriend. I honestly do not care who my fiance dances with or gets hit on by at gigs or anywhere else because I know the poor bastid doesn't stand a chance with her. I also like it when other men buy my woman a drink because its less money coming out of our wallet and the guy still doesn't stand a chance with her.

Some friendly advice. After a while, no woman is going to put up with their man not trusting and they will ultimately end the relationship, so I suggest you either start trusting her or let her go, the choice is yours.

This "lookalike" thing has a very old and boring high school story attached to it. I don't look like Mike Myers, at all :ninja:

Lol, fair play.

Thats what I was envisioning like hmm, most studlike...
BTW not all Brits are like that, lol. ...except for maybe the teeth.

Not always.

I was playing a show once and the girl I was seeing at the time was there. This drunk biker mother****er was trying to literally drag her out of the bar with him.

Yeah.... That's when I think it's time to step in.

My mom always said if you want to be happy, find a fat girl that can cook.

An open relationship helps too.

Girl don't need to be fat, hairy man hands or missing limbs also work.

Same thing goes for guys, might be why our girlfriend/wives don't mind too much the potbellies, love handles and bad breath in the morning. They know we're not some kind of mysterious Hispanic love-machine that will leave in the night to play hide the sausage with other women.

(pedro thinking of sending the wife the comment about the mysterious Hispanic love-machine but is sure that the uncontrolled hysterical laughter would get old quickly.)

I agree with what most people are saying about trust. My girlfriend is pretty much head over heels for me so thats something i really dont worry about. That said, unless the guy is just being a total dick I wouldnt stress it. The way i look at it, If shes worth keeping you wont have to worry about her, and if she goes for someone else shes not worth keeping anyway...

I think it's kind of funny. If I see it happening, I keep my eyes in her direction until she inevitably points at me (indicating that she's "With the guy on stage"). I then wave (as best I can while playing). This is usually followed by wide eyes and a guy walking away.

No pics, no girl :) Here is a pic of my then-girlfriend, now-wife and I at a show a while back. She is awesome!

Ah newly weds, how sweet.

My girlfriend is the singer of a punk rock band. When I set up multi-band shows I often book her band along with ours. We were playing a show in March and while her band was playing I was out at my car having a few beers.

I guess some douche kept trying to talk to her between songs. She had him buy the band 2 pitchers of guiness.

I made my way inside before they finished and was up in the front of the crowd. The first thing she did when their set was over was run up and give me a huge kiss.

During our set the douche walks by us on his way out the door and yells out "you guys suck". Jealous much?
