This is why I only date fat and ugly chics...haha...no really![]()
Yes there was a previous post which was what I had responded to in which the lady accepted the drink and then went up to the stage (I'm paraphrasing here) and made a big deal about handing the drink to her boyfriend/husband. And that's what I don't get.
If the guy has been a jerk or rude than all bets are off. But my understanding was that the guy offered to buy the drink after being informed that she was spoken for and was treated to a public display of handing the drink to the husband/bf. At least that's how I understood the facts.

Excellent point.
Being overly concerned usually means there's an underlying trust issue. I personally don't care, because I trust my gf.
After reading this thread nobody is going to date TB'ers anymore!![]()
sounds like your girl isn't firm enough in letting guys know she's not available. maybe she's not into confrontation, maybe she likes the attention, maybe something less benign...i'd talk to her about it frankly and openly.

Ha ha, nice move! Gotta love that!...My wife without missing a beat, steps in between us, grabs my hand, sticks it on her own right breast and says "He can feel MY breasts if he needs to feel breasts!"
I don't have this problem since I lead a sad and lonely existence.
After having spent 3, sometimes 4 nights a week of my 20's in bars and clubs, I can say that alot of guys will approach a woman even if she is there alone, staring at the band (and its obvious to everyone else she is with someone in the band). Or with a ring on (theres a whole segment of men that look for lonely married women lol)
I definitely trust my wife, she wouldnt even put out a vibe that she was looking to be approached. But, I dont think I would want her to come to the gig completely alone either. And unlike others, I dont take it as a compliment if she gets hit on...I guess i can thank my ex-girlfriend that would go and sit with total strangers for that.
I guess I'm going to have to clarify my original post again.
Respectful guy buys drink after knowing my wife is obviously married to me and she said no thank you, he gets nice conversation, she gets the drink (not me), no harm no foul, no one embarassed, happens almost every show, guys usually even compliment our music after the show and tell me that I'm a lucky guy which I am. happy day for everyone.
Disrespectful man-shlock thinks that he can get her drunk and "make her forget all about me", continues to be forceful, won't leave her alone without his special drink regardless of being told repeatedly.....well sure I'll take two expensive shots on mr. disrespectful of my marriage man's tab.
I don't worry about roofies, grocery store handles or unwashed lettuce and I never get sick.
that's just awful man... really wrong. You have GOT to wash the lettuce, and all of the produce you buy for that matter.
