Its always best to work with an operator who's already been trained on your equipment and knows it well!

That's a bit extreme. I guess your relationship must have been on the rocks to begin with. I find it distracting when my girl flirts with other girls TBH.
I love playing bass but my day gig is psychotherapist (yes, really. Social Worker in private practice full time) and I'll say here that TB is a pretty good place to get girlfriend advice!
Co-written by a woman? Well, that sounds about right! LOL! Yes, it was a real big hit...I remember it getting airplay on AM radio when I was a kid, back before FM. Truer words were never sung!

Yup I have a DVD of a Stax documentary and theres a bit with her where she talks about taking some flak for the composition by some guilty males.
Girls flirting with girls is one of my favorite distractions.
When it's your own girlfriend making out with a mutual friend, and the mutual friend and yourself are clearly mates and nothing more, it can be a little distracting...
Just to turn it around, a ex girlfriend of mine was in a popular band -- one night I was watching her play, packed shoulder-to-shoulder in a small stifling club.
I must have been a little ill, becuase I actually fainted dead on the floor from lack of oxygen (my first time!). A buddy who worked security dragged me out to the sidewalk where I slowly recovered, then slowly made my way home.
My girlfriend was initially P.O.'d because she thought I'd left with somone else!

My girlfriend occasionally gets hit on at my gigs. I don't mind at all. First of all, it's an older crowd and more mature guys usually know how to take no for an answer better. Secondly, I know she's going home with me. She'll often dance with guys while I'm on stage, and that's fine with me. I want her to have fun while she's at my gigs.
Some of these replies are pretty funny, particularly with all of the suggestions for violence. Call me a wuss or whatever, but I'd rather be single than have assault & battery charges.

Mammogram is down but I'm working manually
I love it. My wife (on left) and singer's girl (on right) play a game called "Ok, idiot, you see the wedding ring but are hitting on me anyway so you can buy me a drink." Said drink gets hand delivered on stage to me. My wife is the best.
