What's your opinoin on the Double 212 and Quattro 410 cabinets? I will be using a tecamp puma 1000 or GK 1001RBII. Thanks.

GLOCKENKLANG CABINETS

I have played through several Glock cabs and every one sounded fantastic. I own a Glockenklang Soul and I still, after ten years, think it's the best sounding amp "I" have ever owned. I'm sure others will chime in here, but I'm sure the Tec will sound lovely. One of the reasons or the main reason I don't want a Glock Cab is the weight.

They are heavy as BEEEEP! But my tecamp sounds so good through them. My mentor always says, "why give up sound for weight."
A couple of posts above refer to the Glockenklang Duo as a 212 but actually it is a 210, the Double is the 212 model.
Glockenklang, in the 10" driver models, makes three versions: regular, light and light-neo. For instance, the Quattro weighs just over 80 lbs, the Take Five (same drivers, but different cabinet construction) weighs about 68 lbs, and then the Take Five - Neo with neodymium drivers weighs about 55 lbs, which is very good for a 4X10. [In the case of Glockenklang you don't really give that much up when you go to the neo's, or so I've heard said. Udo is very picky about, well everything, and he never found any 12" or 15" neo drivers that he liked.]
The same holds true for the Duo. The regular weighs 53 lbs., the Duo Light weighs 41 lbs, and the Duo Light Neo weighs about 33 lbs.
I just want to point out that there are some models that are lighter than the regular Duo/Double/Quattro models that are most common here in the US, but the lighter models are not made in the US so they are quite a bit more expensive.

My Quattro is tight and crisp with robust bottom end. Slightly sassy, too.
Have you considered either an 8ohm TecAmp M212 or L410? Killer, killer cabs, and super lightweight, and obviously voiced to work with the Puma heads.

I've liked all Glock cabs I've heard but still prefer the regular ones to the light ones.
I generally have not heard any "light "cabs that I really liked tho.
Are there any updates on the availiability of Glock in the US? Haven't heard any news since I heard their main supplier went under

I have not tried them with a TecAmp head, but based upon my experience with TecAmp, I do that they would pair up favorably.
With specific regard to the Double (2x12), it has held its own with any other 2x12 that I have compared it to, with that "different flavors of good" thing going on with some of the best of the rest. It is nicely balanced, with a great mix of fullness, clarity and midrange punch.

I bet! I'm not sure these cabs are even available in the US any more, so was trying to give him another option.
Does anyone know what the deal is on Glock US. Somebody posted that an endorser was acting as the US retailer at this point, but not sure.
I went with the 410 Quattro! It's a beast by itself. I think I'm good for awhile with this one. Maybe get a 15 as a backup cab later. Ah yeah, it's heavy but I can't give up sound for weight. I was using neo cabs, nice but was never happy.

Does anyone know how the Take 5 Neo compare to the Quattro. Are the Glock Neos that different to the heavier version?
Aslo I am familiar with the Berg Neo AE410 and Epi UL410. Where does the Take 5 Neo sit in comparison to these other Neo kings.
