They're just stuck there. They're kinda like (and by kinda, I mean exactly the same) the little knobs on some Dunlop wahs.

Oh, sorry! I forgot to answer you before. Being 18, maybe, well, 18 days from now! Perhaps just over 2 weeks. Maybe even less than 2 weeks, really!

Oh man I can't wait to get mine now!!! #13, so I suppose two weeks or so? Now the knobs on the side are what again? It's so friggin hard to keep track of what everything does w/o having it in hand yet.
They adjust the gain of certain stages. One for the output booster, one for each of the clipping stages, and one for the clean blend.
The output booster one is mostly just for people that just love ridiculous volume. With it all the way down, this pedal hits unity gain at, like, 3. (not o-clock)
The clipping stages increase the amount of distortion in the pedal. I designed the pedal for them to always be all the way up, but sometimes it can over-saturate and thin out, so you can turn them down a bit to get your sound back. They can also tune oscillation or help dial-back noise without effecting your tone too much.
The clean booster... turns down the gain of the clean booster. Helps clean it up a bit.
With so many options I'm almost surprised the graphic doesn't come in 3D, with stereoscopic glasses.
Everytime someone asks for an update on their gnomeratron, god kills a vintage pedal.
