Blogger is owned by Google, and I'm pretty sure Flickr is too![]()
Yup yup they are both google products,....I use Blogger for my company and I'm also finding that Flickr is a little easier to deal with than photobucket for Blogger. When I started with G+ yesterday it automatically uploaded images that I had on my Blogger profile and my actual blog.
There may be some cross pollination between G+ and that as well (ie upload images on G+ and share on Blogger,...there is a way of doing that through Flickr as well) I just haven't discovered it yet.
Seeing as my blog is going to be more of static website with a storefront there my not be a lot of functionality for me with that sort of connectivity. In those cases I need more control over the appearance of the blog so I'll probably just stick with HTML code to do that. Flickr is handy in getting the sizes right whereas Photobucket,....not so much.
Okay I think I'm rambling a little bit. So far I'm liking G+ but I don't think they are gonna give FB a run for it's money till it get's the kinks worked out.
I also keep hearing about the customization G+, but I have yet to discover how or what they mean beyond the customization of your circle of friends. Maybe with BG images that will be cool but to be honest,....one of the things I hated most about MySpace is when people filled it with that blingy flash based crap that took forever to load and was impossible to read.
A migration to Google might be on the cards, at least as far as chat is concerned.
