Guitar Center used site

I recently got a 2x12 NeoX cabinet and the guy said the computer said free shipping.
It was sell boxed and packaged and made it from NJ toMaryland with no problems.
I did mention that if a used $500 cabinet had a scratch on it, I would be forced to return it.
All in all, a good deal although I have since found the same cab with a cover locally for $350:(

Not sure if anybody else has posted this, but there's currently a used 2015 Gibson Thunderbird for $1k.
Normally that's kind of the going rate for a T-Bird, but I noticed how expensive the 2015 model was, so this might be a good deal. Plus as always they have that killer 30-day return window.
It's also mislabeled as a "Firebird" bass, so people searching for a thunderbird might not see it.

This isn't a deal and this isn't a "stay away", just a funny story. I want a P neck for my jazz bass. I especially want an American Special P neck because it has the big 70s logo. The Manhattan GC has one for $799. I explained to them that GC sells brand new ones for.......$799. They won't budge.

Them: "I don't know man, this one's real nice. Light and resonant and super clean. $799's the best I can do".

Me: "Well.....so you do realize you're selling this used bass for exactly what your company sells it for brand new, right?"

Them: "Yah man that's the price. So are you interested?"

Not sure if this is really a deal at $1,549.99, but these don't pop up often. Years back, Ibanez had a limited release of a SR7ViiSC 7-string bass, in a similar vein as the Fender Bass VI.
