Guitar Center used site

GC is unpredictable about shipping.
Two different stores had GB 2x12 NeoX cabinets and both wanted the same price.
The nicer cabinet was also closer and when I called to buy, the guy said that there wasn’t a price for shipping and it was shipped free and packed very well.

OTOH, this could be the one in a million.

They are (they're) $10/ea if you buy a 3-pack.

3-Pack Reverb Guitar Boxes - Fits All Sizes | Reverb

Yeah I hate shipping stuff, I have never had to buy boxes thus I have yet to ever reach that point of buying boxes but right now I have 6 basses for sale and 3 boxes so here is to hoping 3 of them sell on CL before online. Some guy on my local craigslist has 10 used boxes he posted photos of and wants $150 for.....some people try to make money out of anything. I mean id flip him a $20 for them, but $150 for used cardboard? lol.

You, my friend, need to buy three more basses immediately!

I don't know what this could be. Possibly an MIJ. No truss at the nut. Maybe an older MIA before the bridge got fancy? It's probably worth a call.

The biggest red flag on that is the 21 fret neck. Maybe a MIM/MIJ body with a Warmoth neck that has the fret extension bit? I doubt its a MIA body as the bridge isn't string-through and doesn't look like the ones of American Specials, and the finish seems way too glossy to be a Highway One.

Good call. I wonder what it is. It's a shame the store employees would be able to give me zero useful information.

Ah so. Couldn't see the description on the iPhone. Gomen nasai (so sorry).

Yeah its one of those E series 84-87's. They are pretty sweet I sold a mint black and maple P version last month on craigslist for $600, but again it was mint and weight 8.25 pounds. That jazz could be a great player but I wouldnt hit it for that , $400 would be worth the gamble to me.

There are two vintage V4Bs on GC.com right now for $599. I just picked up an early V4 off there for $500 ($569 after shipping/tax) the other day. They seem to be selling at no less than $700 on eBay and are all listed around $1k on Reverb.

Not sure why GC is sleeping on V4/V4Bs but definitely some great deals.

Just a heads up if anyone's on the hunt for one!
