Surely they have an internet connection - one would think they would check to see the price when new!

I guess that maybe this is a testament to the quality of the Sires..."What do you think it's worth so we can price it?"..."I don't know, but it sure feels like a $1200 bass..let's mark it at half that!"

I actually called them a couple of weeks ago to see if it was a misprint. The salesman was clueless about it. I saw it actually sold and is now at this new location. Guess whoever bought it hadn't done their research either,...until after the sale anyway!

Surely wrongly priced considering the new price, but as far as the Sire V7 bass itself, the value is certainly there.

I own one, great bass overall, especially for slapping.

Those are a factory special run and sell for $899 brand new. They have often been on sale for even less.

Ya there's no catch. That price is maybe a bit less than they generally go for.
